Bethenny Frankel and Andy Cohen have a complicated history, but after a series of public comments from both “The Real Housewives of New York City” alum and the franchise’s executive producer, a potential return is looking less likely than ever.

During an Oct. 24 “Housewives History Lesson” panel during the Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, SC, a fan inquired about the likelihood that Frankel, 55, would ever be invited back to the network.

The question was initially directed at Carole Radziwill, 63, who previously appeared alongside Frankel on the series, and made her return to reality TV for Season 16 of “RHONY.”

“I haven’t spoken to her in many, many, many years. I don’t know if she’d come back. That’s way above my pay grade,” said Radziwill, before volleying the conversation back to Cohen, 58.

Cohen quickly quipped, “I’m not really active on TikTok,” which elicited an eruption of laughter and applause from the audience and the panel of current cast members.

The Skinny Girl entrepreneur took to the aforementioned social media platform to publicly respond to the situation.

“Let’s take the bait,” she said in a video shared later the same day.

Frankel said it was “abundantly clear” that Cohen is not active on TikTok, claiming he’s in the “same place” she left him in when she parted ways with Bravo in 2019.

She remarked that the “only thing that’s changed are the ratings” and suggested that Cohen may be “a little bitter that he lost all his OGs,” referring to a new reality series on E! called “The Golden Life,” which stars five former “Real Housewives of New York City” cast members from the show’s earliest seasons.

Cohen has previously spoken about Bravo’s decision to pass on “The Golden Life” series, which reportedly had also been pitched to the network.

During an appearance on the “Morally Corrupt” podcast, he explained that a recent installment of "Ultimate Girls Trip” featuring the “RHONY” stars had felt like the perfect way to end their story. Paired with the decision to quash an attempt to bring the cast back with “RHONY: Legacy”—a series that never came to fruition—the executive said “that’s where we left it.”

Frankel isn't the only original cast member Cohen isn't rushing to bring back. Bravo passed on the opportunity to air "The Golden Life," a series following some of the earliest "RHONY" cast members.

Public back-and-forth aside, Frankel’s future on the show is also clouded by the fact that she has openly changed her permanent residence from the Big Apple to the Sunshine State.

The native New Yorker—who was born in Queens—opened up about her relocation last year, explaining that while she planned to hold on to her Upper West Side pied-á-terre and her sprawling Hamptons farmhouse, her lavish Miami home had become her primary residence.

“Moving to Florida is irrespective of having a Hamptons and a New York City home,” she said in a 2025 social media post. “It’s right because I have a community there, and I love the light and water. It’s simply a new home base. Most importantly, my daughter is happy, which is all a parent wants and needs.”

In May 2025, Frankel—who is mom to 16-year-old Bryn Hoppy, whom she shares with ex-husband Jason Hoppy—revealed that she had been “totally honest” with her followers about the reason she ultimately decided to move, citing “five or six years” of loneliness in New York.

Before heading south, Frankel moved to Greenwich, CT, and “thought it was going to be amazing,” only to find that “the only time” she would “have fun” was when she was out of town.

In December 2025, Frankel opened the doors of her South Florida house to Architectural Digest, offering up the unusual inspiration behind the home’s design.

“Think padded cell with some warmth,” she said. “I don’t want any color. I don’t want any personality. I’ll add the personality on my own.”

While the home was certainly designed with a muted, neutral color palette, the sun-flooded space is not exactly devoid of personality.

Textured wallpapers add depth while the curated decor sets the tone without overwhelming.

“I don’t want extra stuff for the sake of it, but I also don’t want it to feel cold,” she said. “A million plants, random objects, 75 unread coffee table books—it all feels insecure to me. Like, ‘I have to shove something there.’ But why? Do you connect to it? Or is it just a thing to be that coffee-table-book person?”
